After a CO2 cutting machine is retrofitted to fiber laser and to meet the growing demands of consumers, the equipment has to run at high load sometimes. The fiber laser cutting head is the core component of the whole cutting equipment, and summer is coming, when the temperature of fiber laser cutting head is too high, it requires to find the problem quickly and give efficient solutions to resume production.
Reasons:
1. Centering offset
2. Protective lens is contaminated
3. Focusing lens or collimating lens is contaminated
4. Optical fiber is polluted
Solutions:
1. Check whether the alignment is offset, if there is any offset, adjust it.
2. Take out the protective lens for inspection. After taking out the protective lens holder, you must use textured paper to seal the empty position of the cutting head. Do not blow air after removing the protective lens holder. If the protective lens is contaminated, it needs to be cleaned.
3. Check the optical lens inside the cutting head.
Lift the cutting head to the highest position, turn on the red light, unscrew the nozzle, place a piece of white paper within 20-40mm of the lower end of the ceramic, and move it up and down to observe the uniformity of the red light. When observing the red light, try to block the periphery of the red light to ensure a certain contrast and enable clearer observation. If there are obvious black spots, it can be judged that the internal focusing or collimating lens or the fiber end face is polluted. This needs to be handled by contacting the after-sales service engineer. Do not disassemble the laser head without authorization, and do not continue to use it, so as not to cause greater damages.
