Troubleshooting of IPG YLR Series Laser Source

Time:2022-10-4

1. The duty cycle is too high

Reason: The duty cycle is the percentage of how long the laser is in the “on” state in the given modulated period.
Possible solution: check the modulation signal. Try to reset the error. If it appears again, contact IPG for assistance.

2. High pulse energy

Reason: a pulsed laser periodically emits pulses of energy in a ultra-short time duration.
Possible solution: check the modulation signal. Try to reset the error. If it appears again, contact IPG for assistance.

3. Average power is too high

Reason: the system has detected an error that is considered critical.
Possible solution: check the modulation signal. Try to reset the error. If it appears again, contact IPG for assistance.

4. Pulse too short

Reason: the system has detected an error that is considered critical.
Possible solution: click warning in the touch-screen display. The warning message appears. Try to reset the error. If it appears again, contact IPG for assistance.
