1. Plate itself has geometric deviations
For example, the product itself is uneven or has small particle residues on the surface. The default cutting data is to set the plane plate cutting
If the surface of the plate is uneven, different areas may be unevenly heated during cutting, and the thin plate surface will overheat and be melted, while the thick plate surface may not be melted through. Due to the uneven surface, the laser focus varies randomly from the position of the surface of processed plates to ideal position.
2. The programming deviation
During cutting, the machining trajectory on complex curved surfaces is fitted with straight lines, arcs, etc. There is a deviation between the fitted curve and the actual curve. These deviations cause the deviation among the relative position, relative position of the surface plates and ideal programming position of the surface of plates.
3. The thickness of the material exceeds the cutting range
For example, cutting machine with 1500W can cut 12mm MS plate. Now it is used to cut 14mm MS plates, even if plates can be cut through, there will be deviations or slag on the bottom definitely. Therefore, before cutting, it is necessary to confirm the thickness of the plate and the thickness that the equipment can cut actually. The quality accuracy beyond the cutting range cannot be guaranteed.
4. Focus deviation
The deviation of the focus position will also lead to deviation during cutting. Many factors will change the relative position of the focus and the product surface, which will also affect the processing accuracy. For example, the clamping method of the fixture, the level of the placement of the machine tool itself, the wear degree of the bed rack, etc. Inspect before cutting to reduce deviation.
The processing accuracy of the fiber laser cutting machine is the main standard parameter used to measure the quality of the machine tool in the current industry. In general, there is still a certain deviation range in the cutting accuracy, which is what we call the machining scale tolerance. The deviation range of the processing accuracy of the laser cutting machine is around 0.5mm. The deviation between laser focus position and ideal setting position will be caused by the surface smoothness of the workpiece, the clamping method of the workpiece, the geometric deviation of the machine tool, the deformation of the machine tool under long-term load etc. These random deviations are unavoidable, and the occurrence of deviations can only be reduced through online detection and control, to improve the processing accuracy.
